Kids Reading

It is important for children to develop a love of reading at an early age.  Don't say "I don't like to read," but say instead "I haven't found what I like to read YET!"  Come into the library and discover your link to the fascinating world of books!

  • "Read After School--It's Cool!" afterschool program on Tuesdays from 4:00-5:00 p.m.--bring your homework for a short study time with a snack, a short activity or craft, ended with a time of reading.
  • Summer Reading Program starting June 1 and running until school starts, with contests, prizes, story hours, and ending with a field trip.
  • Computers with games, Leap Pads, books with cassettes, and a wide assortment of books available to our younger patrons.
